New border crossing opens at Limnitis between TRNC and Cyprus

On 14th October 2010 a new border crossing between Limnitis and The TRNC (North Cyprus) was opened for the public to use. This has boosted Polis and the northern coast of the Republic of Cyprus. The beautiful isolated town of Kato Pyrgos has benefited hugely. This is one of the villages on the south side that have not yet been spoilt by huge developments. Argaka is now far closer to the capital Nicosia as you have the option of using this new border crossing. More border crossings are planned.
